Mobility in Tenczynek
Between 7th and 13th January the group of 23
students and 10 teachers from Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal and
Turkey visited Primary School in Tenczyek, Poland for the first
concerts of Erasmus+ Project "TEJL-Together to Enjoy, Join to
Learn". During the visit the group participated in vocal and
instrumental workshops and practised Christmas songs and carols. The
repertoire was presented in three concerts - at the school, in
Tenczynek Church and Czerna Monastery, situated in
a nearby
village. The international choir and music band consisted of 60
students and teachers and performed 11 Christmas songs and carols.
The concerts were very successful - they gathered large audiences who
eagerly engaged in singing.
Apart from the musical workshops and concerts, "TEJL" group had an opportunity to get to know Polish customs, culture or traditional cuisine. A special attraction for the foreign students were activities in the snow - sledging, making a snowman or sleigh ride with a bonfire, organized by hosting families. The group also had a guided tour around Krakow and took part in art workshops, during which they created musical instruments from clay.
It was a really hard-working week, full of positive emotions. All the participants had a chance to practise their language, music, communication and European skills, they integrated with one another, made friends and gained useful experience.
